| Shopping in over crowded grocery stores, Pine garland hanging above the doors, Snowmen built by children out in the yard, Skating on the lake when it's finally hard! Christmas Is... Long hikes through the snow with your family, Looking for just the right christmas tree, Then cutting it down and taking it back, Putting it in the trunk, or up on the rack! Christmas Is... Snowflakes falling down to the earth, Popcorn popping, cooked over the hearth, Children behaving and looking so cute, Awaiting the man who wears the red suit! Christmas Is... The aroma of cookies hot from the oven, Mistletoe hanging for kissing and hugging, Carolers singing as they stroll down the lane, And Jack Frost decorating each window pane! Christmas Is... Gaily wrapped gifts placed under the tree, Lights gently sparkling for all of us to see, Ornaments colored silver and gold, Some of them new some of them old! Christmas Is... The soft smell of pine that fills the air, And a special love you can feel everywhere, Welcoming friends who may come to your door, Christmas is this...and so much more! Christmas Is... The start of a wonderful story, A celebration of God's great glory, For born that night both meek and mild, He gave to us his only child! Christms Is... The love of God shared with us that night, And in our hearts may it burn bright, For that alone is the true reason, That we should enjoy this holiday season!
