Believing is a fundamental and simple part of life. God designed us to believe. More importantly, He wants us to believe His word. Why? Because God knows we inherently need what He has to offer. And His good pleasure is to supply all of our need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Our greatest need was met when Jesus Christ did God's will and willfully gave his life as God's purchased price for all of mankind. Not only is it now available to be rescued from the bondage of everlasting death, but we've been given the ability to live more-than-abundant lives.

The perfect example for living more than abundantly as a believer can be seen in the life of Jesus Christ. Go to
Hebrews 12:1-2.

"...let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." The word "finisher" is better translated to mean "perfecter." After having seen all the examples of believing in Hebrews 11, we are to ultimately look unto Jesus Christ who perfected believing. He believed to perfectly fulfill all the law. And for the joy that was set before him, he endured crucifixion unto death. He believed God perfectly. Then God raised him from the dead and sat him at his own right hand of authority.

As we faithfully continue in fellowship with God, we can prevent ourselves from being wearied and fainting by looking unto Jesus Christ our Lord. Although we were not called to the cross as he was, we can still endure those painful and difficult times in life, for the joy that is set before us. For when we were filled with holy spirit and got born-again, we gained the joy and hope for the return of Christ Jesus for us.

Read
1Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1Corinthians 15?:51-54 to learn more about Christ's return for all born-again children of God during this Age of Grace. This is our comfort and joy as we plunge forward in believing God's rightly divided word unto fulfilling the victorious more-than-abundant life God has promised.

"But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1Corinthians 15:57.
