Beijing 
BeiJing is the capital of China. There are
historical sites and magnificent ancient structures all over the city. The most famous are
THE FORBIDDEN CITY [ the royal palace during the Ming and Qing
dynasties(1368--1911)] and THE GREAT WALL. There are still some famous parks
like Prince Gong's Mansion,Yuan Ming Yuan, Summer Palace , Temple of Heaven, BeiHai, Ming
Thirteen Tombs... . It will take you at lest half of a month for visiting the famous
historical sites if you are interested in architect.
  
Among all the historical sites, I like
Prince Gong's Mansion best. The luxurious buildings , garden with winding
corridors, pavilions, rockeries and water.... , everything is perfect both on vision and
practicality. The most wonderful part is the theater which in the past was used for
giving home celebrations. There we can enjoy tea and local snack while watching Beijing
Opera , acrobatics ,vocal mimicry,comic dialogue ... . The theater is also design
perfectly , the performers need not use microphone but everyone in the theater can hear
very clearly. There we can see the wisdom of the ancient Chinese people.
Recently, many people visit Beijing "
Hutong" by the pedicabs ("Hutong" is the lanes and alleys in BeiJing) . We
can know more about the everyday life of people in Beijing by this kind of trip.
