My name is Christine Lim, and I am a Junior at Angelo Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, CA. I was recently interviewed and accepted to participate as a member of the People to People Student Ambassador Program to Europe (France, Italy and Malta) this summer; June 29th, 2006 - July 18th, 2006. The objective of the program is to promote international understanding while building leadership skills among America's youth. The 21-day experience includes meetings with government officials, interaction with other students my age, educational activities, and a home stay with a host family.

People to People Student Ambassadors are carefully interviewed and evaluated before their acceptance and I am honored to have been selected. I am currently seeking financial sponsors to help me with tuition.The program tuition is $5,739, which includes all transportation, accommodations, meals and educational activities. However, it does not include the cost of a passport ($97), phone cards and tolietries. Hopefully you'll be able to donate! Any amount of contribution would be appreciated.
