UPDATE: September 2001.
Hello all! It would seem I have a new recent experience to report.
RECENT EXPERIENCE: I was at work about two weeks ago when I was sitting and eating lunch alone in the one of the staff rooms in the hotel. It is one of two staff rooms and is essentially used by the small staff in this area of the building and is found on the 3rd basement level. Often, I am the only one who works there and consequently spend many lunches reading, listening to my walkman or doing a puzzle. I don't usually mind it, most times this area feels comfortable. And then sometimes it begins to feel as if I am being watched by curious spirits. Often I clean out my supply locker (which is big enough to lie four or five people end to end) and find I look over my shoulders. I can sense in my minds eye both male and female spirits walking up and down the hall or peering inside my locker. I have also had felt odd (yet never menacing) presences while in the locker. I once knew someone had to be standing over me (I was nursing a headache and was resting on a blanket and pillows) and was simply staring at me with interest. I looked at the air with suspicion and squinted to see anything at all, some type of misty shape or outline but gave up and conceded they would not do harm and would go away within a short time. On this day a few weeks ago I was again alone in the basement staff room. I was not listening to anything , I believe I was just relaxing and was really enjoying my lunch when I heard a noise of something banging in one of the closets (there are 4). My ears told me it came from my locker or the one beside it. I only had the keys to mine so I opened my locker and found that a mop had been thrown across the locker. It had been leaning against the opposite wall when I had last looked. Now it lay askew on the floor on the opposite wall. I shrugged and resolved perhaps there was another explanation, although a supernatural one would be acceptable as well. I still do not mind to being in the basement alone. I am not unnerved at all. Afterall most of what I have sensed have not been negative nor the least bit threatening. If there had been I would simply do a clearing...nobody interrupts my lunch break!
New TRUE Event! November, 2001.
Hi all! I have a new experience which happened only a week ago from this date. Please give it a read....

You see, a year and a half ago (from this date) I was nearly kidnapped by a man while I was walking home from work. This occured a second time a month later along with other strange signs that pointed to someone trying to pick up women in my neighborhood. I became very afraid and from that time on either got my Father to pick me up whenever he could or get walked home by my boyfriend. I did this until very recently. I realized that I finally had to regain my independence and try to live normally again. This time though I equipped myself with a can of mase and a cellphone. Last week I had to walk home after getting off the bus all alone after all this time. I was very nervous and tried to quiet my fears and paranoid feelings as I got onto the bus after work. I hated the idea of going home in this late fall weather and darkness (after five o'clock). I gritted my teeth ten minutes before I got off the bus. During that, to calm myself I imagined myself in the doorway of my home. I could feel the warmth, hear my family and I felt safe. I visualized this for a minute or so and it made me feel more comfortable. I soon got off the bus and nervously went home. No trouble occurred. However, I was incredibly pleased to get home. I walked in the door and went upstairs to collect my dog who my Mother had been watching while I was at work. I then took him downstairs and was starting to take off my coat and such (I live in a downstairs apartment) when I saw my Mother searching the laundry and storage rooms. The she came up to me and said, "Is everything okay". She looked concerned. Not wanting to tell her how nervous I had been that night I said I was fine. She then continued, "Because we heard you come home before you came home". She looked at me with a little confusion and explained. "We were upstairs and we heard the door open. We heard you walking downstairs. The dogs barked, they thought you'd come home but when I opened up the door to see if you were downstairs you weren't there. All the doors were closed....(she added) it was about ten minutes before you (actually) came home". I looked at her and knew right away what I must have done. I must of projected myself or something along these lines. I remember feeling myself be in my house when I visualized it. I must of done like my mother said, "come home before I came home..." This is the second time I've done this but as far as I know this I haven't done this in years.
