More stuff about the hotel I presently work at...

As I have continued to work at my present job, I have discovered that most of the staff is nervous about working alone in one of the two buildings (which comprise the hotel) in particular. I have worked in both sections and do find a greater and "heavier" atmosphere exists in this same particular section. So I am in agreement with the rest of the staff.
One of my work friends feels extremely uncomfortable and sometimes she is very afraid. She constantly feels watched and she never closes the room door while working. She often asks to work in the "less haunted" building. One of her most startling experiences occured only after a few weeks of working. She was alone in one of the rooms. She was vacuuming in the middle of the livingroom area. She had only started when she became aware that the vacuum cord was stuck on something...or so it seemed. When she looked back she saw that the vacuum cord was being held down in the middle of the floor and not hooked on anything. She tugged on it a few times and saw it resisted her attempts. By her third attempt to pull the cord, she knew it was being held down. She pulled again and it released. Needless to say she left the room soon after.
--It seems most of the "happenings" occur on the 9th and 10th floors. A lot of the women on staff work in pairs to ease the strain of working in such an environment.
--It is rumoured that a suicide occured years ago. Supposedly a lady jumped from the top floor window. I have tried to find any record of this but as of this date have not found any further information.
ANOTHER LITTLE EXPERIENCE
One morning another employee and I approached the front door of the hotel. It was a quiet Sunday morning so we were the only ones around. The other employee was ahead of me and I saw she was confused about something. I asked her what was wrong. She said that the hotel (automatic) door would not open. This door is always open since it is the 24 hour access for workers and guests alike. Well, I looked through the window and saw a desk attendant. I motioned to her to come towards us. She was furrowing her brow in mild confusion. She then smiled and them reached up high to press something and the door opened. She looked at me and said "thats really strange, it opened only a minute ago, the switch was turned off....how did that happen?" Of course I answered in a joking manner, "must of been the resident ghost". She chuckled...but I meant what I had said. |

A few things of note have happened since I last wrote. As I have said, supernatural occurences are commonplace for me so a lot of small things aren't really worth mentioning so I will write only the more notable ones below. |

Benign Black Blobby Thing |

|
One night during this past summer I was sleeping when I awoke with a start. I looked over across to the opposite side of the bed and saw a dark shadow (blobby, but still humanoid enough in form and at least spanning four feet wide and in length) hovering over my boyfriend who was sleeping. I blinked repeately to see if the object was only a visual error on my part but I quickly noticed that this black blobby thing was obscuring the mirror which was right behind it. It therefore had dimension and was clearly blocking a "real" object in the room. Like I said I wasn't frightened by it. But I was aware that it was aware of me. It had intelligence. I simply observed with some curiosity for about three or four minutes and then fell back to sleep. I believe that there are a few explanations for this blob being there. #1. It was just me experiencing a visual trick. #2. It was my boyfriends spirit guide incognito (not making itself visually recognizable), #3. It was my boyfriend having an outer body experience during sleep which is very common for all of us. #4 It was a curious but harmless earthbound spirit or other type of benign spirit visitor. |

Another night during this past summer, I was also getting comfortable in bed. My boyfriend was already asleep and I was still lingering alittle. I had my eyes closed but when I casually opened them I saw a women's face smiling at me near my window. I knew immediately it was my spirit guide Jessica (who I channel and speak to all the time). It was a sort of a "I see you!" happy moment. She was just doing her usual job of watching over me (really nothing special). She had straight long black hair, light skin, blue eyes and a petite nose, chin and forehead. She had light around her face so I could see her features and expression. I said hello and I closed my eyes for a moment, when I opened them again (you guessed it) she was gone. Or at least I could not longer see her anymore. When I channeled Jessica after that night she opened our conversation with, "I hope I didn't surprise you too much dear". I had forgotten about it after a week or so had passed so I was duly reminded by her. |

Since I began channeling regularly a year or so ago, I have absolutely had the most fascinating, creative and vivid "dreams". Some are not dreams at all I know it. We all know when a "dream" is a little too real to be "just a dream" don't we? |
