He nodded as I smiled and he then put his hand out and said "I'm Naida". I still remember his face and hair. He was a red skinned native american with such dark black lustrous hair. He had the most beautiful eyes...he was exceptionally handsome. I found the realism of this dream odd. He seemed so three dimensional. First of all, as pathetic as it sounds, his opening doors for me was significant in this dream. Secondly, I'v never had a dream where a stranger is in it and gives me their name. I tend to forget my dreams and the faces in them but his is tatooed on my brain. Also, this was a dream but I had to admit I had never heard of that name up until then but I fell in love with it and promised myself I'd name a pet or a child with it. A couple of days after this significant "dream", my friend took me to a historical cemetary near her home. This cemetary had only a few standing stones, the rest were large uncut rocks which were meant to represent a grave site. As I was visually scanning the tombstones, there was one area on the left and nearly in the woods. This area intrigued me so I looked closer. Then I saw it, NAIDA, from Boston in the year 1860-????. I was so frightened by seeing this I hardly noticed the date or considered following up on this person. So there's that story. Coincidence? I'm not sure. I'v always had a gut feeling about that name and that man in my dream...I still don't yet know what it might mean. In any case I have found an interesting name that I now call my guardian angel by. :) My last story takes place in the apartment I live in now. My grandfather died about three months ago and I'm almost positive it's him--that is if it's not my imagination. My parents were over one early evening and we were sitting in my livingroom, drinking coffee and chatting when we spotted my cat watching the air intently. We tried to distract him from where he was looking but he just wouldn't stop looking up and down and back and forth in the room. He also meowed while he looked...this was very odd. He continued this on and off for an hour. I can remember my parents faces when I told them there must be a spirit around. They're not the type of people who believe in such things, but perhaps this pushed them closer too believing. Later that same night I was having trouble sleeping because, of course, I think too much at night and was even thinking of leaving the lights on. I know, I'm pathetic but my emotions can get the better of me. Now here's the thing, when I go to the washroom I always put the lid down afterwards. You see I don't want my cat to drink the toilet water which contains the blue tablet cleaner. When I was lying in bed I heard a noise towards the bathroom. I got up to pee soon after and noticed that the toilet seat was up! I guarantee you I always double check the toilet seat is down before I leave the bathroom. I don't know if I missed it that time. But now you understand why can't fully say that these are truly supernatural experiences. They certainly are in the "strange events" category.

"Little White Guy" Submitted by: Mark M. Location: USA
I had this experience when I was in college in Texas, some years back. A friend of mine who lived several states away had arranged a job at the school over the Christmas holidays rather than go home. He was to be a watchmen at a big, old, closed dormatory that was slated to be renovated into offices. It was to be his job to stay in one of the rooms and be sure no one got into the building to do damage or cause trouble while the school was closed for the holidays. Even though the building had not been used to house students for at least two years, the water and electricity were still on so there was heat, lights, tv etc. In short, not too bad a deal. I got tired of my family pretty fast so I decided to go up to school and visit my friend for a day or three. I moved into the room next to him and he took me on a tour of the old place. The dorm had been built in 1920 and had been really beautiful in its day, but it was now in need of a lot of work. As we were walking down a hall we saw a small figure dart out of one of the rooms and into another. It was a short, child sized figure and seemed to be wearing white. We were sure it was a kid that had sneaked into the place. We ran down to the room and looked inside. There was no one there. We searched the adjoining rooms too without success. (There was one room in the place that gave me chills...I don't know why, it just felt real bad...the little white guy never went near it) The next day we saw the same thing on a different floor. We were closer this time and we could see that this was no human child. In fact, it looked a little like "E.T" and seemed to sort of glow a alittle. It scared the heck out of us at first, but upon reflection, we were sure it was not aware of us. We chased it all over that building. It would just run down the dark halls and from room to room never making a sound. I left the next day and my friend later told me that he saw it a few times after. I have no idea what it was, but it sure was strange.
