Story continued.... |

| I also used to hear small footsteps running in my room while I would be downstairs in the livingroom. At night when I would sleep when the air was off and it would be completely silent I would hear the cabinet doors in the kitchen open and shut. I would also hear the pantry door open and shut. Too many times I would get up to make sure no one was breaking in. When I shared my stories with my neighbors I felt really stupid but then they told me they would hear the same noises. So it was then I knew I wasn't going crazy. |

My daughter used to say she would feel someone there and she would turn around and see things. She always said there were people around her. She does not live her anymore, and I have not asked her she still has feelings. It used to scare her. My cat really acts strange sometimes. She will stare at things and follow something with her eyes. I always laugh and ask her "are you seeing a ghost?" I think two persons may have died in this house. It was owned only by this other family before we bought it. It is about 80 years old. Also I had an operation 8 years ago and my mother had died the year before. I am sure she visited me in the hospital. Also when she was dying, she saw little boy in her room. She also saw her brother who had died ten years before, but they were very close. I really believe that he came to see her, to prepare her for her passage home. |

Just over a year ago, my sister-in-law ended up in the hospital six weeks after her daughter was born and was there for months following. She had a bunch of things not working inside her and her body was dying. Anyways, two days after she got put in the hospital, she took a bad turn and they gave her two hours to live. They had to bring her back a few times. But one time when she did go, she said she remembers walking up a lot of stairs. When she got to the top there was a platform with large gates. In the center of the gates there were bars bent in the form of a face, but there was no one there. She turned back around the gates and there was a bunch of people standing there. She said she did not recognize everyone there but soon realized they were family members who had passed long ago. They told her she couldn't come in because she was still needed down there. She turned to the steps and then back to the gate this time it was closed and locked with one of those old time locks and there was no one around. She turned around and and went back down the steps and she is alive today looking after her year and a half year old daughter. I almost forgot, she told us what the room was in looked like at the hospital before she was transferred to another hospital. She was in a coma the whole time she had been there. |

We lived in a bad (and that is the truth) house for a spell when I was growing up. My Mother died two months after after we moved in. Then, my aunt came to live with us to help out. Two months later, she had a stroke in the house and died. Lights would go off for no reason. The cuckoo clock would go crazy for no reason. We heard the grandfather of the former owner who had died in one of the bedrooms. We had a housekeeper live with us for a few months to take care of us kids after our mother and aunt passed away. We had dolls on display in a room and she swore the dolls were 'looking at her'--she was totally creeped out. I moved into another room when I was about 13. I had a large dresser with a full mirror. One day I was in the room and heard a loud 'bang' noise. I looked over and saw the mirror had cracked completely in half--for no reason. I was so freaked out that I was afraid to tell my dad--I just couldn't explain to him what had happened. There was no valid explanation. I finally told him and he couldn't understand it. We finally moved out of that house, but heard later that the mother of the next household had died. We fully believed that there was something evil about that house that hated women.
When I was a teenager friend of mine was going out with a fellow friend whose mother was "intuitive'. She told me about an experience she had one day when she was visiting their house. The mother was talking about her experiences with the paranormal which was becoming very upsetting to my friend. The mother told her not to be afraid but to open her mind to experiences beyond the normal. She then turned from where she was sitting at the table and knocked on the wall with her knuckles gently. All the pictures in the house fell off the walls. This scared my friend so badly that she demanded to be taken home by her boyfriend. She swore that she'd never step into that house again! |

My friend had an experience where he went to bed and he turned out all the lights. He was the only one home since the rest of his family was on vacation. The house was locked down for the night. When he awoke the next morning all the lights were on in the basement where he was sleeping. He was never sure how to explain this occurrence rationally. |
