"FRENCH" DICTIOARY

Anything referrredt to as "French" at the girls' home means that it is about rubber and rubber chasntizement. This comes from three things: That the French are well-known for both anything to do with the chastity area and a style that is very delicate and ladylike. this kind of chastizement was taken up and developed by French-speaking ladies form Canada. Mostly the D'Arielle family with some influence from the Fairies and most rubber names are French. Perhaps the biggest part of how this came to be is from the girls who live at the girls' home. They are a bit superstitious and feel that if they say "rubber" too much it will be used on them (and they are just soooo right) so they use other words to mean rubber like "rain" and for some reason they started using "French". Add to that that most of my Rubber Nurse training was at a French shool in Paris.

La Tiare: (French="the Tiara") the name for the headpiece a Rubber Nurse wears. In remembrance of the Fairy origins of Rubber Nursing, a rubber nurse who has completed her studies is given several tiaras. She always wears one of these in public to show her status. In fact, as students, we were always in tiaras, even for bed as part of our prepartion. It was thought that we must become so used to the tiara that it was almost a part of us and by the time we graduated, wearing a tiara was second nature. Often, a French-trained Rubber Nurse and her Cheris Petites wear or have on display in a prominent part of their romms an iridescent pink tiara and wand.

Les Femmes Provncales Des Tiares: (French= "Provincial Tiara Women") Rubber Nurses who work in outlying areas that are difficult to get to by ordinary methods. They come into an area by large wagons. Each group consists of 3 rubber nurses and a wagon mistress. These ladies are recruited from the areas in which they are from, and work after Rubber Nurse training. Once they enter a villiage or town, they live with the people whom they serve, they not only do the Rubber Nursing, but also bring in supplies, rubber and other items and news from other areas. after they have done their work, they pack and move on to the next part of the circuit. They get their title from the fact that, reflectiong the Fairy origins of Rubber Nursing, in public, they always wear tiaras. Though working for themselves, they get the support of L'Ecole Des Fleurette because the pary a franchise fee, represent the Rubber Nurses by agreeing to abide by a code of conduct and bring rubber to areas where it would otherwise not be used or known. Thes ladies are instantly recognizable by their habit; the tiara, a pink head veil, a white, full-bodiec, full-skirted dress between the knee and ankle over which is a pink rubber apron and a hooded pink rubber cloak that also serves as a rain garment. Often they dye their hair blonde, pearl, pearlescent snow white, copper or silver. These laides also have other skills, such as music, adjudication and settling disputes and teaching, and where they stay they help with the work and chores as much as and often more so, than the persons who live in that area. For this, they are made welcome
