My work is a reflection of my view of the world - debonair in theory... but calamity will often seep through. A great deal of my early work includes silhouettes, which is the aftereffect of a childhood intrigue and is heavily influenced by the Victorian era and World War II era. The use of aerosols to create colorful backgrounds stems from my admiration for graffiti and street art. More recently I have fallen in love with the therapeutic process of abstract painting, which has evoked new feelings and pushed me in a new direction. My art is constantly evolving and challenging me. Continuously, I am learning from and experimenting with my art, as well as drawing influence from the world around me.
