Education: Christina started her acting career in third grade when she appeared in her middle sisters' home made super8 movies with titles such as "Raiders of the Last Cookie Jars" and "Shogun!". At first she wanted to be an Olympic gymnist ( the sports she took were  soccer and ringette),but had to give up that dream when she once dislocated her hip. She focused herself on drama and dance when on Unionville's Highschool of Performing Arts. Here she appeared in several stage productions (such as Twelfth Night)  and even landed a role in the tv-series N.E.G. After that she went on to study theater for two years at Ryerson University. In those two years she landed roles in both film and television, like "Due South", "Forever Knight","The Hardy Boys" and the CBS-movie "A Brother's Promise: The Dan Jansen Story". Her breakthrough came with the role of Angie Ramirez on "F/X The Series" and she was even nominated  a Gemini Award for this role as"Best Actress  In Continuing Leading Role" in 1998.
Christina went to the west coast and landed a role in the controversial independant gay movie "Better Than Chocolate", which became a huge succes, appealing to both Hetero and Gay audiences. Christina went on and received roles in "The Crow:Stairway to Heaven", "The outer Limits", "Stargate SG-1", "Earth: Final Concflict", "Jane Doe", "Cold Case" and "CSI: Miami". She has just finished filming the movie "The Chronicles of Riddick" for which she had a sort of millitairy training, this film will be in theatres in the summer of 2004.Christina says she loves to learn things for her roles, when people tell her she has to learn a special skill, or even to play an instrument for a part, she will allways say yes, she sees this as a great benefit of being an actress, getting paid to learn to do cool stuff, she says, is teh best thing. At  this moment Christina is training with the Dutch female Boxer Lucia Rijker for the Clint Eastwood movie "Million Dollar Baby" (this is the working title, as the definite title will probably be "Rope Burns"), in which she will be playing  a pro female boxer that Hilary Swank has to fight. In May of 2004 the filming has begun  for the upcoming television series "Nikki and Nora", Christina will play the lesbian detective Nora, who works together with her life (love) partner Nikki. Christina lives in three places at the same time, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto. She does love the work she does, but keeping in contact with her friends and family is a big  priority for her.
