FROM FIRST TO LAST

Okay so the show started off with From First To Last. I had actually heard them on mp3.com and was really impressed. This Florida based band started their set off with a not so good bang. Their set was too choppy the vocals were sketchy. I was expecting this amazing band and wasnt that impressed. The music wasnt that bad but a little generic. But keep in mind this is my opinion. They looked as if they were having fun themselves. This show was just not their night. There was just something off about their set maybe it was the timing where everything occurred. They didnt incorporate the melodies with the hardcore drumbeats. They just were not there for me. So now Ill move on to the next band.

EVERYTIME I DIE

Okay now I can say WOW and mean it. On lead vocals Keith made the intense and ferocious attempt to re-act what they put on CD and was successful. With the new album out LAST NIGHT IN TOWN, and the release HOT DAMN, which they currently performed, made this show amazing. So they started off their set with some humorous comments that made you laugh. So ETID is amazing their live show is intense and full of energy. Okay so you go and youre watching and you see Keith and Jordan basically beating the crape out of each other. And than you look over and there is this huge pit filled with tons of kids swinging their arms in an intense motion. Every time I see a band from New York I cant help but get over whelmed the intestity of how they perform live its unforgettable. They had a chaotic twist of intense breakdowns but I mean at the same time they had the talent to entwine melodies to capture the beauty of being able to play an instrument. So this band was amazing thats all I have to say.

CAVE IN

I cant help but praise this band. I mean they are truly amazing in all aspects of being a recording and performing artist. So they started their set off with the soft melodies and instrumental guitar parts. But they slowly pieced together the outrageous screams and they blended two totally different genres together to capture the moment in a bottle. They are one of those bands that you can only stare in awebecause you cant fully explain yet why you like them but they are amazing. So they played and not that many kids were into them as much as I thought they would. I remember when I saw them on the PLEA FOR PEACE TOUR about two years or so ago. And they were amazing a little more hardcore not so raw in the indie scene. But Cave In was really good and I wished it had been a different show. I would have rather seen them with a different line up but I appreciated their set.

FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES

Well now we get to this amazing band that is From Autumn To Ashes. So they started their set off with this creepy guitar intro not to my surprise. Well from the pitch black and through the smoke you could see the boys taking their places on stage. The hot stage lights came on and they begin their set of mayhem. Okay now every time I see this band I get this intense joy. With their debut album being TOO BAD YOURE BEAUTIFUL and there current release THE FICTION WE LIVE these albums form the perfect live show. Now the one behind the madness is Ben from the sound of his screams and the melodies from drummer Fran this band gets better and better. They start their show off with the melodic hardcore feel and slowly and sure enough get into these rough breakdowns. Now Scott is amazing on guitar sick and all he gave everything to the crowd. This band has catchy lyrics and soft sing along parts. They give the best of both worlds the time to dance hard and the time to dance slow. Well I want to go on and tell you how they destroyed every other band and how they gave their best performance well part of that is true they definitely won the show over and had an amazing performance. But I have had many experiences with this band and this wasnt one of their best performances. But its up there. They will be back in November playing Soma in San Diego so make sure to check them out. And guys I love you.
