| Do not take what is not yours
It is common for many to copy and paste. Copy this and paste it here and there. First and formost we have to remember DO NOT STEAL. Taking what another sister has written ( blog) or taking a conversation (discussions) her....taking ANYTHING from Christian Women Connected without the Sisters permission and without the persmission of Christian Women Connected , is a NO NO. You must ask the author but then you must ask CWC also. The Staff with then have a meeting to determine if said content can be used anywhere other then CWC, What is written here will stay here. Do not copy and paste any conversation, blog or otherwise written postings from CWC or members. ( this notice is herby given on this date 6/23/08 and is due to change as time goes on) In Summary * These days, almost all things are copyrighted the moment they are written, and no copyright notice is required. * Copyright is still violated whether you charged money or not, only damages are affected by that. * Postings to the net are not granted to the public domain, and don't grant you any permission to do further copying except perhaps the sort of copying the poster might have expected in the ordinary flow of the net. * Fair use is a complex doctrine meant to allow certain valuable social purposes. Ask yourself why you are republishing what you are posting and why you couldn't have just rewritten it in your own words. * Copyright is not lost because you don't defend it; that's a concept from trademark law. The ownership of names is also from trademark law, so don't say somebody has a name copyrighted. * Fan fiction and other work derived from copyrighted works is a copyright violation. * Copyright law is mostly civil law where the special rights of criminal defendants you hear so much about don't apply. Watch out, however, as new laws are moving copyright violation into the criminal realm. * Don't rationalize that you are helping the copyright holder; often it's not that hard to ask permission. * Posting E-mail is technically a violation, but revealing facts from E-mail you got isn't, and for almost all typical E-mail, nobody could wring any damages from you for posting it. The law doesn't do much to protect works with no commercial value. DMCA Alert! Copyright law was recently amended by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act which changed net copyright in many ways. In particular, it put all sorts of legal strength behind copy-protection systems, making programs illegal and reducing the reality of fair use rights. The DMCA also changed the liability outlook for ISPs in major ways, many of them quite troublesome. Linking Might it be a violation just to link to a web page? That's not a myth, it's undecided, but I have written some discussion of linking rights issues. Permission is granted to freely print, unmodified, up to 100 copies of the most up to date version of this document from http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html, or to copy it in off-the-net electronic form. On the net/WWW, however, you must link here rather than put up your own page. If you had not seen a notice like this on the document, you would have to assume you did not have permission to copy it. This document is still protected by you-know-what even though it has no copyright notice. Please don't send mail asking me if you can link here -- you can do so, without asking or telling me. The only people I prefer not link here are those who mail me asking for permission to link. |

| My Statement of Faith
- Provided by Susan, the Founder of Christian Women Connected I believe that God is the creator of the universe creating both of the seen (physical) and the unseen (spiritual) realms and that God the creator is also the giver of life. I believe the Holy Bible is God's word Personally spoken by God for mankind for the purpose of revealing who He is and it is without error in all issues to which it speaks. I believe in the Triunity (Trinity), one God in three Persons, consisting of Father, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I Believe Jesus Christ is Divine God who came from Heaven to mankind as a man yet retaining the Divinity of God and who while living a sinless life was rejected and betrayed by man to be crucified and die on the cross yet not to remain dead but to Resurrect the third day in accordance with His Everlasting Divine life. I believe that the death of Jesus on the cross provided complete atonement for all the sins of the world therefore cleansing those who choose to be cleansed from their sin to then receive the Holy Spirit and by receiving the Holy Spirit becoming "Born Again" and being Born Again becoming children of God. Children in the family of God and as children in a personal relationship with their Father who is God above all and as children also inheritors in the Heavenly Kingdom of Jesus the kingdom that is without end. I believe that Jesus is the judge of all of mankind's thoughts, intentions and actions and that He is just and wise in His judgment. As judge, Jesus will judge the unjust to everlasting condemnation while to the righteous He will give of His life, His gifts, and His glory. I believe Jesus physically rose from the dead, was seen by and interacted with many eyewitnesses including the Disciples and Apostles and that Jesus has now ascended back into Heaven where He originally came from. Jesus is currently seated in Majesty, Power and Authority alongside the Father and He is now accessible to us in both Prayer and Fellowship. I believe: In one God, all knowing, all powerful, existing in three persons (the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) and present everywhere. (Matthew 19:26, Mark 14:36, Revelation 4: That Jesus is fully man and fully God, and that in His person He is the perfect expression of God's love for me. (John 1:1) That God desires a personal relationship with me, and that by His grace, through Jesus Christ, I am set free from the bondage of sin. (Ephesians 2:4-10) I acknowledge: That I have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) That Jesus Christ is the Messiah, conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and that when He died on the cross, through His blood atonement, He bore the penalty for my sins. (Matthew 1:18, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) That Jesus rose on the third day, in victory over death, and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. (Romans 8:34, Psalm 16:10) I accept: Jesus Christ's unconditional atonement for my sins, without price, without question. (Romans 3:23-26) I will: Obey the greatest commandment to love God with all my heart and all my soul and all my mind. And I will love my neighbor as I love myself. (Matthew 22:36-40) Submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit and seek His guidance through the Bible - the Word of God. Release my sins and burdens to Jesus, and allow Him to heal my heart. Seek fellowship and worship with other believers. (1 John 1:5-7) Obey Jesus' command to "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." (Mark 16:15). |
