I do not have much to say about the room rules.. I don't like making rules. However, there are a few things I would like everyone to know. Which I want everyone to be happy and get along in our channel. Keep in mind that our channel is based on learning purpose. NOT to focus on staying on the top 10 or 20 list of monthly or weekly list. NOT to focus on getting more points in each week's and month's points. If you are on the top 3 weekly list for more than 3 or 4 weeks in a row, be sure to slow down and give a chance for other to get top place also. If you are using two nicks, please be sure that both your nick aren't on the top 10 list.
If you are playing with others, please give chance for others to answer the questions. DON'T BE HOGGING THE POINTS! Take a break after you answered 3 to 5. Let others answer for 3 to 5. Be a Team Player! if someone can't answer, if you know the answer, help each other out. Let us learn from each other and grow together in Christ.
From what I noticed most of you have pretty good speed. However, please be aware that Not everyone is using fast speed computer. Most player(s) joined us from WebTv or Web based JAVA chat program. Some may be using mIRC or Pirch scripts with on Computer. So, Those of you who are using mIRC or Pirch scripts screen maybe go much faster than other who are using WebTv or Java. Ping reply for text transfer maybe delay or different, depending on what chat program you are using. Sometimes, the question format maybe appear different on those of you using WebTv or Java chat program than those who are using mIRC or Pirch on computer and probably may have to figure out what the question was before they answer, or some of us are slow on reading, slow on typing, or some may have language difficult and understanding of the questions and may take a little longer to read or answer to each questions, and so on... Since we can't see the other person behind the screen, Please be aware of what chat program you are using and what others are using. what others can or cannot do. Just because you can see well and type pretty fast, doesn't mean that everyone can. So, if you think you can see well and type fast, Count to 10 Before You Type.
Sometimes, you may noticed on your screen you answered it first, but you did not get the point and other person got it. It does not matter what you see on your screen for the answers and points, it only counted and points were given to whoever answer was showed up first on the TriviaBot's Screen when you are playing with others. So, please be aware of it and please do not say negative things or offensive words in the room or toward other people. It has nothing to do with them. If you get upset over a point, I don't think you are focusing on learning the word, and sadly our room is not suitable for your personal need in this particular situation.
I've decided to make our room as moderated channel. That's because our channel is Not a time killing normal trivia game channel. Its to help us learn and gain more knowledge in the Word of God. Its for everyone to enjoy and learn something and study the Word of God. NOT just for one person game. Since we do not have many lives OPs in our channel, we can't be just sitting around and watching the channel 24/7 and see what goes on in our channel. We all have lives after chat rooms. However, if you are in the channel and playing with others, If we happened to catch you after 5 in a row without given chance to others, I will take your voice away until someone got the answer. Then, you will know how others feel when you were getting all the answers 5 in a row! Some of you may know and study Bible more than other, but please keep in mind that we all are here to learn and share the knowledge and grow together in Christ. If you know your Bible and know most of the answers, Be a team player! Help out each other. let us learn from each other and help us our mission grow for Christ. Otherwise, if you just take over the game and did not give chance for other to play, I suggest you should find another trivia room for you to play beside our channel.
IF you are being stay focus to be on top week and top month all the time and HOGGING the points away, put yourself into other people places and think about how you might feel. I don't want other to be feel left out in the channel. Do Not just focus on the points. Remember, if you are worry about getting more points, I don't think our channel is right channel for you. Our channel is to reach out and share the good news with others and it's for learning and studying purpose only! We will not kicked you out or banned from our channel. But, (Be sure to read About Banning & Kicking). However, we will devoiced you, and you will lose your voice. Moreover, please be aware of what you are going to type in the channel and think before you type. Some folks are very sensitive and you don't want to offend someone by the word (s) you use in the channel unintentionally and might hurt someone's feeling or could also leads to argument or cause trouble in the channel. Please try to remember when you are talking with someone or playing, Think Before You Type!
You are allowed to stay in the channel as long as you like under following conditions. such as lurking or idle in the channel. However, be sure to put your nick AWAY, AFK, BRB, etc.... until you come back or ready to play again. Otherwise, if we catch you without putting your nick AWAY, AFK, BRB, etc... we will take your voice away until you are back or we will try to message you through private chat. If we did not receive any message back from you, you will get kicked out.
(This does not applied to Channel OPS).
If we are not there by the time you are back, you may leave the channel and re-enter the channel and you will get your voice back. TriviaBot is set to auto voiced anyone upon coming to the channel.
Do not accept any type of file transfer from anyone if you don't know the person
Do not give out your real name
Do not give out your e-mail address
Do not give out your phone number
Do not give out your home address
Do not give out your personal information, etc... to anyone in the channel or private.
We will not be held any responsible if you choose to do so.
If you want to talk to someone in private, please asked him/her first if its ok to do so.
You may use Popup in the channel. However, please keep it light and do not flood the room.
Matthew 18:1-4
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
2 He called a little child and had him stand among them.
3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus sat a child down in the midst of the disciples as an object lesson for them to learn from a precious child. What was the lesson? Humility needed to follow Christ. "You must be converted, you must be of another mind, and in another frame and temper, must have other thoughts, both of yourselves and of the kingdom of heaven, before you be fit for a place init. The pride, ambition, and affectation of honor and dominion, which appear in you, must be repented of, mortified, and reformed, and you must come to yourselves.... You must become as little children. Converting grace makes us like little children, not foolish as children.
1 Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.
Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves.
Matthew 11:16 To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others
But, as children:
1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation
As children, we mist be careful for nothing, but leave it to our heavenly Father to care for us. Matthew 6:31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'
We must, as children, be harmless and inoffensive, and void of malice

This is what it means to be childlike. To be trusting of our Savior as a child is of a loving parent.
But, the Disciples are asking who will be the greatest in your kingdom. Which one of us gets to be the first pope? Who will be in charge? These self-centered disciples are acting childish. The words of Jesus are that we are to be CHILDLIKE. NOT CHILDISH.
That sounds like a great goal for each day that we could each grow in a childlike faith and be delivered from our own childishness.

This is very rare for me to do. I don't like kicking or banning people from the channel. We are here to do outreach mission work, as well as help us to learn and understand the Word of God, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. If we kicked or banned people from the channel, we'll never have chance to witness or share the good news to them. HOWEVER, If two or more people report us that someone is just there to HOGGING the points, I will personally BANNED that person from the channel until we've finished talking or asking with everyone in the channel. You may or may not be coming back to our channel depending on the based upon of outcome on what everyone said about you. Remember the above statement. We want everyone in our channel to be Childlike. Not Childish! Learning together and sharing is different. HOGGING points is Not Welcome when you are playing with others in our channel. Our channel is not just a trivia game room. Its for the glory of God and to help us learn His Word in a new way. share the good news to others and to fellowship with brothers and sisters believers in Christ. Show respect to channel OPS at all time as well as to others.
If at anytime, anyone did not comply with all above statements, you will be asked to leave, devoiced or banned from the channel.
It's good to be Christians to know it, but it's better to be Christians to SHOW IT!
