Len's Trip Through the GSMNP

By the time that I got to Cades Cove there were Bucks at every turn.

Disappointed that I could not go to Newfound Gap, I turned and headed toward Cades Cove.
I started up toward Laurel Falls trailhead and saw the top of the mountian was white.
I got excited as I thought I might get to see snow. When I got to the
trailhead there was two inches of snow and snow was falling. The overcast was so
heavy that the trail picture below was the best that I could do.

All the way up the mountian into Cades cove I was still looking for snow. When I reached the top,
I knew that the cove was clear. As I started the 11 mile loop road, I could see that the deer were in the
fields not the woods. At once, I saw a Buck with a large rack. Then another and another and another. What a day!
