Are YOU ready to Rumble?!!

Characters: Two fighters (Christian and Satan), God, Angels, Audience, Referee

Props: Water bottle, Towel, Boxing Gloves

Scene 1:

Christian praying: "Lord, I am ready to give you all my troubles and burdens. I have faith that you will take care of my needs. I thank you and praise you for all you have done for me!"

Satan: hmmm… sounds like a challenge to me, are you ready to RUMBLE???

Christian Prayer: "It's me again Lord. I know I turned everything over to you but it's so hard and I am only human. It seems the more I want to do for you the more Satan wants to take me down. What do I need to do?"

Scene 2:

Ring announcer: "In this corner a Faithful Christian, trying to learn from trails and setbacks. Can she survive?

In the opposing corner. The prince of darkness, He is strong and fights dirty, this ought to make for an interesting match!"

Christian: OK here I am! I am scared and a little vulnerable. I am new at this. But God is my trainer. I think I can take him with God on my side.

Satan: I got this one in the bag! She is weak. This will be over in a few seconds!

(They enter the ring gloves up, Satan taking the first punch, the Christian looks stunned and looks over to God for support but don't go down.)

Satan: You're going down girl! I am strong! God will leave you when he sees you can't take it!

Christian: Hey that hurt, here is the other cheek, hit me there let's see what happens!

Satan punches the other cheek the Christian doesn't budge God smiles

Christian: Again, come on, again….!

Satan continues to punch, the bell sounds and the fighters return to their corners. Both exhausted.

God gives the Christian water and towels off her face

God: You're doing great! I won't leave you! Just keep the faith he will tire out, trust me!

Round 2 bell rings, Christian becomes stronger but still takes a beating but does not go down.

Satan: Come on, give it up, you're beat to a pulp you can't go on!

Christian: You see who is in my corner? The harder you hit me the stronger I am going to become! I have faith in him! The more you strike the more I am going to do for him so give me all you got!

Satan hits again and again and starts to weaken, his arms are tired but he doesn't want to give up yet.

The bell sounds and the fighters return to their corners

God: You're doing great! I know you are tired but I will give you the strength you need, don't give up! Have faith!

Satan takes an upper cut and is wobbly; He doesn't understand what is happening.

Christian: Satan, you can beat me all you want, I WILL fight back, and I won't give up! Do you get the point?

Satan hits again but is so weak it no longer hurts the Christian. The Christian is getting even stronger now.

The bell sounds for round three, they return to their corners.

God: I am so proud of you! There is a reward when this is over. He is stubborn and will never give up, but you now have the strength to take him on! Keep the faith child!

Bell sounds for the final round.

Satan: OK, you have proved your faith, I will take a dive for now, but know I want a rematch whenever I chose, you won't know when, you won't know where, you won't know how…

The Christian takes one final blow to Satan and he goes down for the count.

Referee: 1….2….3….

Satan doesn't move.

God enters the ring and raises the hand of the Christian in victory! He places a crown on her head and embraces her. This fight is over for now and with strong faith and renewed strength she is ready for another battle anytime.

God: You will forever be in training, it starts with reading the manual (the bible) he can no longer harm you. He will try, but I will always be there for you whenever you need me. I am just a prayer away! Remember what you have learned here, never forget! And again always keep the faith! I love you my child, I am very proud of you!

The angels and other Christians begin to cheer, Satan crawls out of the ring defeated. There may be another battle in the future but God will be there again. Satan will never win though he thinks he will someday. Will he ever learn? The answer to that question is also in the manual, and it is undeniable NO! And that is God's final promise!
