| PHILOSOPHY The first years of a child's life are crticial to the development of a positive, self-confident, capable learner who will later go on to become a competent, happy, and successful adult. Christian School House believes that a clean, safe, nurturing, high quality, developmentally appropriate Christian environment outside of the home is benefical to the child. The whole child must be taken into consideration, and these needs fall into the domain of cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Addressing these areas along with helping to develop positive attitudes towards learning will ultimately enhance self-esteem and overall well-being. PROGRAM Our program integrates each child's needs, interests, and abilities while sharing the love of Jesus to one another. Planned within the framework of our philosophy, the daily program addresses all areas of a child's development. A multi-sensory approach is used to introduce each child to his/her environment. Activities are planned daily to incorporate all five senses. Our day revolves around a balance of quiet academics and active activities, taking into consideration the developmental needs of each indivdual child. All children are encouraged to particpate in a wide variety of pursuits depending on the age including academics (math, language, arts, and science), dramatic/role play, arts & crafts, story time, music and movement which includes praise 'n worship, and small & large muscle activities. STAFF Combined our staff has over 15 years of childcare experience. Believers in the Faith, our staff firmly believes in only confessing those things which will edify & inspire, calling those things that are not as though they were (Romans 2:17) and daily decreeing Jesus is Lord in our lives. All staff have completed satisfied background checks with the State of Michigan, hold annual certificates in Infant/Toddler/Adult CPR & First Aide, and attend annual training sessions to insure they are updated on the latest information regarding young children. Empowering children to Prosper, In His Excellence.
