Signs of a Masturbator

Parents, are you wondering if your child is a self-polluter? Rare are the children who will admit to this vice - they, even though protesting, know it to be sinful, and will not admit it to those who love them. Fortunately there are ways that this vice makes itself known in the bodies of those who practise it, and many are the young men and women who have been saved from self-destruction by the wise counsel of a friend upon seeing these evidences. So look out for these signs among your friends and relations.

Unhealthiness: If someone of your acquaintance becomes weak, exhausted and unnaturally pale, there is a good change that person is masturbating. This vice weakens the constitution and produces coughs, weakened chests and general "under the weather" feelings. If someone you know becomes like this, question them closely, as it may be the result of masturbation.
Sexual precocity: If a child masturbates, it brings on puberty much earlier. We hear now of girls of nine developing menses - surely a result of solitary vice. If the genitals are stimulated in childhood they will attain adult stature more quickly. However this will not be a normal adulthood, but includes a failure of the beard to grow fully (how many young men are not able to grow a full beard? I know of many), the voice remains higher than a normal man, and in girls, height may be affected and an unnatural thinness come upon them as well as a lack of feminine grace.
Moodiness: If a young man or woman changes from being pleasant, well-spoken and obedient to being rude, disobedient and angry, this is almost certainly the result of masturbation.
Acne: Spots or pustules on the face are often the result of self-vice, as this habit deranges the body.
Untrustworthiness: A child who is masturbating will soon become little like the child you had known, and turn into an untrustworthy liar. Take care if you note your child lying to you : this is probably the cause.
Mental weakness: Those who masturbate are afflicted by weak minds, unable to study, prone to mental illness. This can lead to total mental ruin, if not stopped in time.
Shyness: Those who are polluting themselves become shy, because they now have a secret they know no one must know. They become excessively modest and bashful.
Mock piety�or perhaps we should more properly designate it as mistaken piety�is another peculiar manifestation of the effects of this vicious practice. The victim is observed to become transformed, by degrees, from a romping, laughing child, full of hilarity and frolic, to a sober and very sedate little�Christian, the friends think, and they are highly gratified with the piety of the child. Little do they suspect the real cause of the solemn face; not the slightest suspicion have they of the foul orgies practiced by the little sinner. By the aid of friends he may soon add hypocrisy to his other crimes, and find in assumed devotion a ready pretense for seeking solitude. Funny walks: an habitual masturbator will walk strangely, with stiffness, lack of elasticity, shuffling and dragging.
Food: Masturbators are particularly fond of salt, pepper, spices, cinnamon, cloves, vinegar, mustard, horse-radish. Anyone who puts too much of these things in their food should be regarded with suspicion.
Smoking: Smoking tobacco and masturbating go hand in hand, if someone (especially a boy) smokes, you may be sure he also masturbates.
Hands: Masturbators frequently have moist, clammy hands.
Enlarged vaginas: Girls who masturbate before puberty will often mature to having exceptionally large vaginas. Doctors should be on the look-out for this sign.

Look out for all these hidden signs as well as the obvious stains on sheets, noises coming from someone's room, etc. Always be on the lookout for vice, and stop it!
