I am promising this before God and my family. I know that I am worth waiting for, because instead of trying to find "Mr.Right" I will be making myself worthy of "Mr.Right". I will keep myself pure until God sends him to find me. I will keep myself pure so that I will give my spouse the "Greatest" wedding present there is to give, Me! | No matter how much we want our children to stay babies and never grow up, there is nothing we can do to stop them. No matter how many times we tell them to be careful, they still fall down and get hurt. No matter how much we keep an eye on them, we still can't watch them 24 hours a day 7 days a week. No matter how bad we don't want them to date, it's bound to happen with most kids, unless you as the parent, teach them a BETTER way. That is why we have made the decision for our children NOT to date but to Court. Well, I made these certificates for my children since I can't be with them 24/7. We are teaching our children the difference between Dating and Courtship in hopes that it will stay with them and that they understand why dating is harmful. We are learning right along with them because we didn't have this option when we were younger. I sure wish we did and our parents would have done it. We want our children to understand so when they are faced with "friends" telling them, "boy your parents are strict" or "man you have no freedom" they can reply to that with somthing like, "God is my authority and His Will is what matters, not your's or my own". If my children live by and remember this, I will be one of the proudest parents in this world. I want them to know that even though "I" can't be with them, watching them all the time that God "IS" watching and knows all that they are doing. I want them to know that no matter what "ALL THE OTHER KIDS ARE DOING" that they themselves will be doing the "RIGHT" thing. I want them to be PROUD and UNASHAMED to be pure. I want them to understand that this special gift that they have to give to their spouse is as precious and the one God gave to us, His Son. By them signing this and hanging it on their wall, it serves as a reminder to them that they have a very special gift to give that can only be given ONCE! On their wedding night they are to give this certificate to their spouse. What a wonderful gift, isn't it? Lord I lift up these children, young ladies and young men, that have signed these certificates that you will give them the strength to turn away from Satan's evil temptations. I pray a hedge of angels around these children that Satan can't break through. Lord I ask you to show them how to follow their heart, your word and do the right thing. I pray that they follow your commandments. Lord I rebuke Satan from these children's thoughts so that the temptations of the world will have no effect on them. I pray that they are proud and unashamed to be pure. In Jesus mighty name..........AMEN All parents, grandparents, family, and friends that agree with this prayer say AMEN & AMEN!!!!!! |
