OBJECTIVES/THE NEED FOR ACTION In order that Satan (the enemy of mankind) will not continue to dominate the thinking power of our people, the
Christian Mission
has therefore decided to the glory of god to initiate and promote
the Mobile Unit Evangelism through the following
methods:
1. Preaching and Teaching as a medium of evangelism. a. We are committed to teaching basic Christian truths as essential part of Evangelism. b. We aim to preach God’s good
news to
children,
youths and adults, not only in words, but also by developing caring relationship with them. c. We encourage youths to follow Christ in ways that are appropriate to their age, Culture and background taking into consideration of their home in regard to their family
situation.
2. CHRISTIAN FILMS PRESENTATION Because of the odd development Satan has made to Children and youths
especially, we are committed to the use of video projector
so as
to present Christian Films to help renew and transform the
minds
of our future Leaders whom Satan is trying to pollute through
the
use of worldly lustful life destructive films. Children and youths
are
highly interested in social life and as a result they are attracted
to
cinemas, video centers, where they learn different kinds of things
that
help destroy their lives and future.
3. BIBLE READING AND OTHER CHRISTIAN RESOURCE In encouraging people to meet God daily: a. We encourage people to read the bible daily so as to gain acquaintance with God Hence faith is build in them. B.We emphasise the viable place of prayer through which God talks to us and also blesses us. C.We encourage people including children to read Christian literatures, tracks and Other Christian resource packs instead of pornographic materials that Pollute their souls.
4. WE SERVE AS A CARRIER OF CHRISTIAN RESOURCE PACKS TO BOTH BELIEVERS AND UNBELIEVERS. The Christian Mission of Sierra Leone in consultation with Churches and Church related Organizations that produce for free distribution of Christian Literature, tracts and bibles etc. is committed to the free distribution of Christian resource materials to all kinds of people irrespective of colours, tribes, ethnic, religious or denominations. |
