EVANGELISM/OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
In 2002 we went on a short term mission trip to the Northern Province. These were our Evangelistic activities in the towns and villages in the North. On the 5th - 6th of January 2002, we organised a two daysretreat for fifteen youths in
Majawor Village. After the retreat, we then
involved them on evangelism being team
partners to us.
On the 9th of January, we organised a three days open air service at Makawo Village two miles walking on foot from Majawor. A demon possessed was delivered and many sick people healed. Over 100 people gave their lives to Jesus. On the 12th and 13th of January 2002, we held a combine crusade with a grassroot evangelical Church in a village we walked on foot five miles. This is a Muslim Village from the origin. During the two days preaching the hand of the Lord moved gloriously and many people were healed, a blind man's eyes open, Witches and wizards confeses. Many were delivered by God from the powers darkness. A cross section of the Village gave their lives to Jesus. They brought their Charms, jujus, sebeh, fankay etc. These are all evil means of the dark world. A new Church was established there at grassroots. From the crusade, on the 16th of January 2002, we held a one day family success seminar Where families prayers were made. There were lots of deliverances from evil powers. The people were happy and asked us to go there latter on missions. All in all we evangelised five towns and ten villages with many victories. From the 27th to the 31st December 2002, we held film crusade to two big towns near Freetown and preach to over five hundred people. SINCE 2002 AS A CHURCH RELATED ORGANISATION, WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH GRASSROOTS CHURCHES IN ESTABLISHING THE KINGDOM OF GOD. |
