Share a time when you have experienced a deep spiritual need. I knew I needed to be forgiven for something I had done and knew I had failed in my faith journey with Jesus. I had lost my control over something I thought I had been getting very good at. I believed that my spiritual life was strong enough to keep me going. I failed to realize how easy it is to forget my roots and how I could lose myself to sin. My life had taken a turn (or so I thought) and I did not see where I was going with my job. I believed I was ready for a promotion and when it did not come I lost my concentration on God, I let go and gave up on my connection. I knew that God would forgive me and that I had to ask Him to come back into my life. I had to see where I was in my spiritual life, my work life, my family life. I had to ask for forgiveness from my family and friends. God will give me strength when I need it if I only turn to him in times of stress and distress.
