Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! I need this promise for the coming week because my old is still hanging around, sometimes I feel like a camelion Christian, going where it seems easiest, changing my looks to suit my surroundings, easily led sometimes. I don't feel as strong as I should be with all God has given me, as he has recreated me I know I should be better than I am but sometimes I have little confidence in myself. I know God can give me forgiveness for my past and lift me up and make me stronger. I could also use "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past...." My past seems to hold on more that I care to think. I know God has forgotten it once He has forgiven me, it's just me who cannot forget....or change some things........
