unity.
A brief description of what I am doing and what I need:
By being on a father’s strike I am not open to receive any benefit.
Already I have an outstanding debt to the Inland Revenue in the thousands,
which I refuse to pay. It is wrong and immoral for the State to put its
demand of financial support for those children purposefully separated
from their fathers, before first recognising and securing the relationship
between the father and the child.
I refuse to cooperate with a State system that would willfully neglect
its children. This is to say that the relationship between the parent
and the child under any allegations of domestic violence is the first
consideration properly to protect the child not the second. If protection
or other separation orders are to separate the child from the parent
or [father] the justifying conditions must be fully researched and absolutely
competent. The existing separating justifications are an aberration in
complacent and exploitative humanity. Children’s needs in News
Zealand appear to be very secondary to those demands of systemic controls.
I gain enough money to live on, either by not incurring costs, living
off the charity of friends, or from occasional work painting for cash.
While I am painting I cannot commit myself to the intensity necessary
to wrestle the injustices from the system. Without Internet connections
or any other standard equipment for such activity I spend much of the
money I could earn in exorbitant unnecessary costs.
I request to advance my ability. The services I provide can be charged
and are tax deductible. Such work would allow me to construct a frame
for a coalition of fathers. Once a web site was running, and the first
newsletter constructed, the primary foundations would be in place. The
membership of such a coalition is being a father of a child. In our present
day society fathers are in need of additional protections against their
societal neglect. This is provable through the investigation and presentation
of my arguments. I am committed to presenting these facts to be recognised
as truth.
About the public televised debate between “lawyers” and “fathers.”
The basic information on this event has been organised. A team of lawyers as
organised by Stuart Cummings will meet in debate with a team of Fathers as headed
by Bevan Berg. Darrell Carlin and Bruce Tichbon have both agreed in principle
to make up the fathers team. The event will be held at Hoani Waititi marae in
West Auckland. The marae is Pita Sharples marae. It seems most likely that Prime
TV will cover the event. If not Close Up have expressed interest although their
coverage may not be as comprehensive as Primes. The topic of debate will be...
"Can a child's best interests be respected as paramount in the Family Court.
Approximately 150 people will be invited to the event. The invitations will represent
as fair as possible different perspectives from New Zealand's community affected
by the Family Court. Approximately 100 of those invitations will be voting invitations
if voting is required. The rules of the debate are yet to be confirmed.
Confirmation of some of the details will be made after August 1st.
