Australian Men's News

Women's magazines, as Oprah does, plays on the "we are victims" feminised theory, purely for monetary gain.

New Women

The above magazine again emphasises the impossible situations that women find themselves in. If you are not dieting than you are just not one of us. Women's magazines spend all their efforts at showing a "farcical" view that no-one can or even will ever be able to achieve. So we have this ongoing rage against women concerning their A. body weight, B. dress sense, C. attitude towards other women.

The amazing observation from my point of view is how easily women can humiliate and denigrate their own. Instant gratification is not only achieved by going shopping but also denigrating anyone of their own, for any reason, be it the way she looks, walks, dresses, talks etc. It's not a trait commonly found in males. In order for a female to humiliate their own only their presence is required, no other requirements. These magazines promote it and exploit it.

The above magazine harnesses that by showing the action and nonsensical events of hollywood starlets, their questionable behaviour are held in high esteem and justified as they are regarded as royalty, but only while they are popular. The rest are relegated to the scrap heap as they no longer sell magazines or are able to attract prospective buyers, forever pursuing the advertising dollar.

It's these magazines they constantly promote the "women are victims" mentality. Never suggesting that the women may be at fault, it is always some husband, boyfriend or lover that has wronged another blameless female and she is suffering because of it. The spin sisters that use to cry "FIND THE VICTIM" in every story are back load and stronger than ever. They rely on gossip (cheap) and even have the termerity to suggest that they research articles which is clearly not the case at all.

How many times have you heard endless celebrities say that thoses stories in the magazines are either lies or they are even bigger lies. They carry this out by using a photo, does not matter who it is and then generate some topic ie. a women carrying a shopping basket and speaking on the phone at the same time could be suggested that she is talking to someone, just make up a name, maybe the latest boyfriend or whatever. The write an article that is totally fabricated and nothing to do with the photograph. Great, now we have a storey we can fill a page with. Whether or not it's the truth or whether it's dishonest means nothing to them. Just keep filling up those pages with meaningless drivel.

And women are lapping it up in a billion dollar industry that guarantees to install insecurity, selfishness and vanity in every and anyone that does not see it for what it really is. The lowest common denominator, educating women in behaviour and attitude towards others cannot sink any lower than they managed it to achieve.

Spin Sisters' Reveals Phony Feminist Hype of Media Princesses

"Rarely do articles appear that encourage women to take personal responsibility. More often, they urge them to try to force government to take action. For example, notes Blyth, the spin sisters ignore the women fighting in Iraq unless they become victims, such as in the case of Jessica Lynch.

Magazines such as Glamour and Cosmo “constantly send the message that narcissism is an advanced evolutionary stage of female liberation. ... They also encourage young women to mimic men sexually,” and promote that being “predatory is the most important step in their personal liberation.”

Much of the sex articles in the women’s magazines are nothing less than soft-core porn that is rarely if ever fact checked, with quotes that are often made up, Blyth reveals.

“These kinds of stories – true or not — have had significant cultural force, shaping and reinforcing young women’s attitudes about sexuality and relationships.”"
