Rioter charged

A CRONULLA woman was charged yesterday after police released photographs of six people wanted for questioning over the December riot in the beach suburb.

A police spokeswoman said the woman, 22, who was pictured on the front page of The Sunday Telegraph yesterday, went to Hurstville police station about 1.15pm where she was arrested.

Following questioning she was charged last night with riot and affray and for throwing a missile and will appear in Sutherland Local Court on July 6. She was allegedly among a mob who attacked people of Middle Eastern appearance at North Cronulla beach.
