One time long, long ago when 3d graphics were just a dream, Lucas Arts released a game called
Monkey Island. It was a very original game, but I don't want to bore you with that
stuff we will talk about that later. This game is fun as well as interesting.
You take the role of a young boy who wants to become a pirate. Guybrush Threepwood is your name
piracy is your game. As set out for your adventures to become a pirate you will encounter many strange things like
drunk pirates, a blind lookout, a used ship salesman and other weird things.
No one had ever done a pirate adventure game and it was an awesome concept that sparked
to sequels and one currently in development. One thing I liked best was the sword fighting.
You would give a character an insult and if they knew the answer to it they would get a chance to
insult you back. It would go on this way, back and forth until one of you had won 3 times in a row and the
other person lost. You would have to lose a few times of course to get all the comebacks.
This game is fairly clean there is no obscene gestures, and I only found one usage of vulgar language
throughout the entire game. There isn't really any violence other than people swinging swords at
each other. This game will not offend Christians unless you dislike corny jokes and
pirates.
