Black Langshan |
Black Langshans are members of the Asiastic class of poultry and are a pure breed that originated in China a long time ago. These are large chickens with very glossy black feathers and beautiful bright red combs. They have dark eyes and their shanks are also black. Langshans have feathered feet, though not as feathery as other kinds of these breeds like cochins. They also appear to be standing upright most of the time. Their baby chicks have black fluff on their backs and tops of their heads and they have white fluff of their bellies. They make wonderful showing animals and they lay a nice brown egg and are very gentle animals. |

White Langshan |
White Langshans are large, stately chickens. They came from China, like Black Langshans, and they are pure white when full grown, with dark brown eyes, and bluish legs and shanks. They lay nice brown eggs and are part of the Asiastic class. Their baby chicks are dark grey to a greyish-white color. They make excellent showing chickens and are very gentle. |
