About Us We are a foster/foster respite family that takes in children for as little as a few hours to days and even(as of recently with our little toddler, for months)We are a loving and caring military family who love animals and children and they are such a big part of our lives. We are also both college students..my hubby while serving in the US navy is also pursuing a teaching degree and I am hoping to get my medical degree with a minor in psychology and in both cases, both my hubby and I will be dedicating our lives to children of all backgrounds and histories..and most importantly, all we do is free and with done to help the littlest angels with much ,much love! Hello and welcome to my kids closet page. You might be asking yourself by now, if not already familar with a similar concept with adults, that a kids closet is a place where parents and foster parents in need can get some free,loving help with clothing thier children. In our case,as foster parents.We have begun to put together a kid's closet for the foster children in our area. We have started very slowley with kind donations of toys, clothes and some bedding, but we have a very long way to go as we give away items and occasionally deplete our humble "supply" (a few months ago in fact, a generous donation of girls baby and infant clothing helped inner city and children in mexico as we took clothes with us in may to redistribute there) and are always depending on the kindness of strangers. We are always looking for lovingly used items or items that can use a tiny bit of TLC (which I can offer) in order to make its way into the hands of a child in need. Some of the items we can take are: * toys (baby,infant) * bedding (all ages) * clothing (all ages) * tolietries * other safety items (ie;gates,etc) And anything else you no longer need but feel other foster children may be able to use here and elsewhere Your lovingly used items can mean the world to a struggling family and children in need. Please Note, we can not issue charitable invoices, etc as we are NOT a registered charity...we merely have charitable hearts!God Bless! |
