Christalis Company is made up of two different branches: the Theatrical Ministry of Inland Valley Victory Church, Temecula (ivvc.org) and Company C, its community counterpart.

Christalis Company was founded for two reasons, the most important being to spread the gospel of Christ through theatrical and musical outreach.

�It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers�so that the body of Christ is built up.� (Ephesians 4:11-13) God has appointed some to this task, some to others, and some to still others.

And, according to 1 Peter 4:10, �Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God�s grace in its various forms.� If this is the task that has been appointed to us, we wish, by God�s grace, to use our God-given gifts to serve others and the body of Christ. For God�s grace doesn�t come in only one form, but many.

Colossians 3:16-17 tells us, "...and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God...whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Company C, the "secular side" of our theatre company, was created primarily to serve as an umbrella company for our staff's other projects, such as full-scale musicals, one-acts, original works, etc. Company C is a collaboration of dedicated, passionate thespians, artists, writers, and theatre techs, all of whom work together to make these "other projects" a reality. We at Company C believe in what we've termed "positive theatre": a work does not need to be overly shocking, political, offensive, or obscene to be art. We hold with freedom of expression, but there is a fine line between expression and outright tastelessness.

Christalis Company as a whole is Christ-centered, the sound of "Christalis" evoking the word "chrysalis." Our name comes from the belief in the rebirth aspect of our art: we rediscover ourselves and are born again, on stage, every single time we set foot on the boards. Theatre is not about crowd-pleasing repetition but about the joy and pure creative expression that many groups today have forgotten about. Our hard-working staff and actors are a testament to these beliefs: we are doing this voluntarily. We are a non-profit organization that relies on God's grace, and philanthropic kindnesses to fund our projects.
