Odin is the chief Norse god. He is called sometimes called g Allfather. Odin is god of many things such as war, wisdom, poetry, and death.
Odin has many possessions. His symbol is his magical spear Grungir, with which he can never miss his target. One of his other most important possessions is a magical ring called Draupnir, which can create nine of itself every night. Odin has two wolves, Geri and Freki. He has two ravens as well, Hugin (thought) and Munin (memory). Everyday, the ravens go out to gather information for Odin.
Odin was destined to die at Ragnarok, where he would be swallowed by Fenris-Wolf. He knew his fate, and yet still chose not to fight against it. He fought at Ragnarok anyway, which shows he was a warrior.
Odin fathered many children, including: Thor, Hermod, and Balder. His wife is Frigg, the goddess of marriage. He is blood brothers with Loki, the mischievous giant, who would be responsible for Balder's death.
