"Oath of the Gothar"
Name all gathered here as witness that I swear this solemn oath
upon the sacred ring that I will fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a
GOTHI.
The strengthen our way,
To reconcile within the community,
To uphold and transmit our lore and culture,
To respect the ancient pact of our ancestors made with
Mother Earth.
To keep Frith with all hidden beings, the Land Spirits, Elves, Dwarves, and Trolls.
As Long as fire burns,
Wind Blows,
Water flows to the sea,
The Sun shines,
and the earth yields.
As long as mothers nurture their children,
Men tend the fields,
Ships sail,
and the sun melts the snow.
As long as the fir tree grows,
Fish swim, the stag runs, and the falcon flies.
In the long day of spring
may the wind ever fill it's wings.
