FAQ
Why is a scrapbook better than a photo album?
Beyond showcasing photos, your scrapbook can TELL a story....
They can hold momentos and souvenirs such as ticket stubs, maps, awards, cards, and more to embelish the memories provided by your photos. On top of being more informative than a photo album, they are way more FUN!

ALSO...
Many of the older albums have turned our pictures yellow and faded, especially magnetic albums.  I only use acid and lignin free, or "photo safe" materials to protect your pictures from deterioration.  Because of this, future generations may be spared the yellowed, faded color photos of their childhood that many of us now own.

What does acid free mean?
Acid is found naturally in trees and will eventually turn paper that contains acid to dust. Paper is considered to be acid free when it has a PH value (the measure of acidity or alkalinity) of 7.0 or greater.

What is Lignin?
The substance found in tree pulp that turns paper brown and newspapers yellow. Due to environmental standards, acid free paper is usually also lignin free.

What is Journaling?
Journaling is the written detail that tells the story behind the photos. Journaling can be done in different ways, or you may choose not to include journaling. You can provide the journaling and it can be printed via computer on the page.  Space or a journaling box can be left for you to handwrite your journaling when the project is finished.  Quotes and poems can also be used in place of, or in addition to, journaling space on the pages.
