Who knew telling the truth to a woman could actually work out in the long run. I mean here I was a couple days ago ready to cancel my date cause of my daughter. I was ready to concede defeat to my ex-wife. I mean her plan was almost working. I guess she wasn't expecting me to do some thing out of the ordinary and tell the truth. Then again the truth hasn't always been too kind to me. It has led me in prison. It has led me to divorce. This time though it will lead me to redemption. I am sure with Natasha working my case that I will have my rights to my daughter reinstated. Ashley had no idea what was fixing to hit her and I loved it. Man I was starting to see why Ashley loved making my life a living hell....it fucking is an adrenaline rush.
-= Building a Case =-
After ending our date a couple nights ago, she had told that she would be over some time this week to get more information to do an appeal on my behalf. I couldn't be she was actually willing to help me get one over on my ex-wife. Though I had the feeling the she was doing this more for my daughter than anyone. Yet if that meant screwing my ex-wife then hey that was an added bonus. Anyway Natasha had called early morning saying she had an opening this afternoon where she could come and get some information about my case. My ex-wife had came and picked up my daughter ,but I didn't let her know about my impending appeal that was coming.
I sat on my couch waiting for Natasha as I flipped through the channels on my television. Yet I couldn't really get into anything as I was waiting for Natasha to arrive. Damn look at me I was acting like a fucking school boy with a crush. Damn I needed to snap out of this quick. Though I had a feeling that when she found out the information on me that well maybe this truth wouldn't have the same outcome as the admitting that I had a daughter. Anyway just then I heard my doorbell ring. I jumped up and walked over to the door as I couldn't help ,but smile even though I know this would be one of my best moments with Natasha. I reached the door and opened it as Natasha stood there in front of me with a cute little business suit. I kept smiling as I let her end.
"Hey Gio, how are you?" She asked as she entered my penthouse. She looked around while she walked in. I guess checking out my place as this had been the first time she had ever been here. I escorted her to the dining room table as this would be more accomandating for her to do her information gathering.
"Nice place you got here ,Gio." She said as I haven't had this place long, maybe over a year. I had bought this place after my first wrestling contract. Anyway I nodded my head at Natasha as to say thank you. I took at seat adjacent to her as I figured she wanted to get down to business.
"So how are we going to do this?" I asked as really I never had really met face to face with my lawyer. The lawyers I had used were our family attorneys and they just did stuff to make it where I didn't lose an arm and a leg in the legal battle that I had occur. Thankfully Natasha was actually wanting to win appeal, not just do enough to save face for me or my family.
"Basically I need to know things that they might bring up against your character in court." Oh great this wasn't going to end pretty. I mean she was fixing to her first glimpse at the dark side of my life. She was going to see my flaws in all their glory. Heh some second date this was going to be.
"Are you going to use a bright light for this investigation?" I joked knowing that this might be the last time we laugh today. She looked up and smiled at me.
"Only if it calls for that." She joked back as I smiled knowing that she wouldn't be in the joyous mood in a moment.
"So Gio you have anything on our record." Damn why don't we jump straight into the deep end why don't we. I knew should we find anyway.
"Yeah, I send served five years in the fed." I think that caught Natasha off guard as I know my appearence didn't give off that of a criminal. Then again I still protest that I was framed in the whole money laundering scheme.
"What for? I'm sorry ,but you just don't like the ex-con type. Trust I know the type." I didn't know if she meant she knew them by her job or she dated the bad boy type.
"Money laundering. Which I tell you I was framed." She let out a smile as I didn't know how to take that smile.
"Great it is a non-violent crime. As long as it is that then we don't have anything to worry about. Now let me ask you about your divorce..." Oh great now it was time that she learned that I was just like every other asshole of a man.
"Infidelity." That one word changed Natasha's expression as she just stared at me. Then again I think she knew I wasn't a straight arrow type a man.
"Figures." What the fuck was that suppose to mean? Figures. Did I look like a fucking retard that would show up on the show cheaters?
"What do you mean figures?" That one word kind of set me off a bit.
"All the great looking men can't stay with one woman." Wait did she call me great looking?
"Maybe they were still looking for the perfect. Maybe it just took all this shit to finally find one you might be able to stay true to." Dude Gio what the fuck are you doing. Quit fucking babbling like some dude on the Lifetime channel. Yet Natasha fell for my statement hook line and sinker.
"Maybe some woman don't care about the past. They just hope for the best." She replied as this was starting to fucking turn into some chick flick with the cheesy dialogue. Yet at least with the airing of my dirty laundry, Natasha seemed to be still in me.
"Heh, you know I was a little nervous about this meeting with you, Natasha. I didn't know how you would react." God quit fucking expressing your feelings. Quit being so honest with her. Yet for some reason I could help but tell her the truth. She gave the vibe that she would be okay with anything that happened.
"Gio, I look at it like this, the past is the past. It had nothing to do with me." Damn how more perfect could this chick be? She had fucking taking everything since we met in stride. Yet she had learned about all this stuff about me yet I barely knew anything about her.
"You knew since I aired my dirty laundry, what about you air yours? Especially those hot red thongs of yours." I joked as she giggle d a bit. Though her mood then shifted as she became uneasy.
"Well okay. I don't know why I am going to tell you this?" She said as I could tell she was getting even more nervous.
"Tell me what?" I asked as to urge her on to tell me.
"I'm not all goody goody. I have a dark side and I don't know why I am going to admit this to you ,but my family is one of the biggest drug families in the United States." Yeah right. I mean her father just own the night club. Right?
"But I thought your father owned LAX?" I asked trying to put together the pieces.
"It is just a front to throw off the DEA. We have connections to Columbia where we sell the finest cocaine in the country." Damn I think I liked this side of Natasha. Then again I had always been turned on by the bad girls.
"I should be the judge of that." I joked at she looked at me a replied without missing a beat.
"Not until after your appeal." She tight roped the line of good and bad. I knew one thing though at least with Natasha I would never get bored with her.
"Fine, after my appeal we will do an eight ball." I can't believe I was saying this shit. I can't believe I was talking about doing an eight ball with my laywer. Then again I never had a lawyer as fine as this.
"Alright, I'm sorry that I can't stay longer Gio, but I got to get back to my office." She said as she stood up as I stood up with her.
"Alright." I said as we both walked toward the door. She stopped and looked at me.
"Anyway I will start putting your case together later tonight. Anyway I will talk to you later." She said as gave me a kiss on the lips before opening the door.
"Okay talk to you later." I said as she exited the door. I returned back to the couch as I replayed the revolation that just occurred. It turns out that Natasha has a darker side than I would have ever dreamed. Yet this didn't take anything away from rather it made her more attractive. I thought about for a moment ,but I knew I had to focus on my triple threat match at the pay per view. I knew it was time to get.....
