When installing new hardware procedures have to be followed, in this task you are required to install a hardware component. You are required to observe health and safety regulations during installation.

 

a) Carry out an audit of a stand-alone machine provided, and enter details on the Hardware   Audit Report. Prepare the stand-alone machine for a hardware installation. Using suitable hardware to be provided by the assessor, open the system and install new hardware. (P3)

I was ask  by the teachers to perform the health and safety regulations during the installations are 

 

a)      First of all I started by cutting the power supply wearing the ecstatic  wrist belt I open the computer box  I checked the CPU and the fan if still function properly and changed the memory from 1gb to 512mg

b)      I used the IAED cable to test the functionality of the hardware and the hardware were working  perfectly
