This faerie is a guardian of the forest. She sits on her pedestal to make sure that everything is safe in the middle of the woods on summer nights.

 

She is wearing a burgundy organza bustier and olive velvet shorts, and her thick velvet and organza coat keeps her warm all night through. Peacock feathers decorate her hood and collar.

 

Her headpiece is covered in tiny red glass beads, metallic ornaments and Swarowski crystals. Tiny roots on her forehead mark her belonging to the forest.

 

Her base is a stone vase with a wash of gold paint, topped with a mosaic of small green tourmaline chips.

 

“Watching Over Summer Nights” stands 33cm high. Her base is 15cm wide.
