| TEACH ME A WORSHIP SONG When the trials of life beset me And the narrow road seems too long, Come, Holy Spirit of God, And teach me a worship song. * When friends don't quite measure up And all seems in such a mess, Let me remember of their good So I can pray a prayer to bless. * When the family seems to care so little And, if I was gone they wouldn't even know, Help me remember our better times ~ Because, You know I love them so. * Teach me a worship song. * I know, "Who am I to complain?" Look at the messes I have made. So, when others disappoint me, Help this present hurt dissipate and fade. * I get so very lonely, now and again, Because I often times don't fit in, Even though I know their plans Could lead me into sin. * Teach me a worship song. * I make no excuses, Lord. For, You see me as I am And I know, Blessed Saviour, I need to fit into Your plan. * When the mountain seems too high And the valleys are so very low, I look, unto the distant hills, to You, Because You love me so. * Teach me a worship song. * If You lead me through the dessert, Then You will shelter from the heat. As in the lessons of dessert places, I need to learn to make my life complete. * Whether it be in trial or blessings, Holy Spirit of God, bring me a-long To a place of gratitude and Teach me a worship song. ************ My Worship Song I will begin each day In prayer and sweetest praise. I will lift my voice, my Lord To bless You through my days. I will worship at Your throne, As my worship song I sing to You For all that you have given me And all you have seen me through.
