3 pages, 2 million topics, and one beep later.  We were still sitting there talking about everything we could think of.  We played bubblegum, eye spye, and truth or dare.  Truth or dare, Chris asked me.  Ummm, truth, I said after thinking for a minute.  Hmmm, Chris said pretending he was thinking about something.  When was your first real kiss?  I looked at him.  Ummmwellyou see I began again I wanted my first real, real kiss to be by someone I really cared for.  He looked at me with a face Ive never seen on a guy before.  He looked so sweet and innocent.  We went in for that romantic kiss as soon as our lips touched he jerked back.  daym, Chris said blushing.  Stupid pager, he looked at the number to see it was Greg calling from his cell.  And I dont have a phone with me, Chris grumpled.  After a few minutes of silence I remembered that I had my phone with me.  I let Chris borrow it to call Greg.  Where have you guys been? Demanded Greg.  Listen, were ummm stuck in the elevator.  Why didnt you call before? Greg asked just as angry.  I took the phone from Chris and said Im sorry Greg I didnt realize I had my phone with me.  My mom must be worried sick about me.  I gotta call her.  Bye, I said as I clicked off the phone and dialed my moms number.  Mommy, I said into the phone.  Im still at the mall.  Im kind of stuck in the elevator.  Chris listened intensely as he heard my mom yelling at me.  I can drive you home after we get out of here, Chris said quietly.  Mom, how bout I get a friend to give me a lift home, theyre already at the mall, I added quickly.  Okay, fine my mom said as she hung up.  Whew, that was a close one, Chris said smiling at me.  The elevator starting moving as stood up.  Chris grabbed his burger and drink as we ran really fast to the arcade.  There I met two of Gregs other friends Frankie and Matt.  Hey, I said.  Listen I really gotta go, my mom was mad because I didnt call her to tell me to take me home.  It was nice talking to you guys.  It really was. Ummm, could someone do me a huge favor?  Yeah, they all asked.  Could someone please drive me home.  They all laughed even Frankie and Matt.  I can, Greg and Chris said at the same time.  Chris took me by the arm and led me outside where we got a taxi.  We were in the cab just before we turned on my street when Chris looked at me and said Can I get your number?  All of a sudden I come out in song Hit me with them seven didgits.  We both burst out laughing making the driver turn around, then realizing that he needed to pay more attention to the road, swerving just to miss running into the car ahead of us.  After we stopped laughing Chris tried again So, can I have your number?  Only if I can have yours.  We traded e-mail addresses and then the taxi stopped.  Well be right back, he said to the driver.  He walked me upto the door and said Thanks for keeping me company in the elevator.  I laughed and said wouldnt have been much fun alone huh.  We put our arms around each other and hugged for a while untill our lips almost touched.  The taxi driver blew the horn.  We both jumped.  Im guessing I turned bright red because the front porch light turned on and I walked in waving good-bye to Chris.

Who was that? my brother said in a sing song voice.  Chris, I answered in an angry voice.  What were you doing, I asked him glaring into his eyes.  Oooh, just watching you and Chris smooching on the porch.  What? I said trying my best to pretend to be insulted.  haha, Richie said.  I looked at him and laughed.  Good-nite, he said.  Yup, I said walking to my bedroom.
