Tribute To Tybalt
When Becky and I first got to Bangor ME we went down to the pound and got a kitten. We named him "Tybalt" after the cousin of Juliet in "Romeo And Juliet".
The scene goes where Mercutio says, "Tybalt! You rat catcher! Will you walk?"
And Tybalt says, "What wouldst thou have with me?"
And Mercutio says, "Good king of cats! Nothing but one of your nine lives! That I mean to make bold withal, and, as you shall use me hereafter, dry-beat the rest of the eight."
And then they sword fight.
Tybalt kills Mercutio. But later on Romeo kills Tybalt but that's another sword fight entirely and one in which they don't mention cats at all.
For eight years Tybalt was our "son".
However....Then Sam came along and he was allergic to Tybalt. So, with no small amount of tears we had to take Tybalt to the pound. Nobody else wanted him I'm afraid.
