I was conceived when Mummy and Daddy were moving into their new house.  They were a little shocked, but very excited as they had wanted another baby soon anyhow.  My big brother was VERY excited about getting a new brother or sister to play with and enjoyed decorating the nursery, choosing clothes and picking out cool toys for me.  He even helped choose names for me! Mummy and Daddy took him to EVERY doctors appointment so he could hear my heartbeat and learn about how I was growing.  He loved to sit on the couch and feel me swimming around inside of Mummy! There is one special toy that my brother chose for me.  He insisted that I needed a SPECIAL teddy bear.  For six long months, he looked everywhere that he went for it, but every teddy bear was wrong; too big, too small, wrong color, sad face... On January 10th, he FINALLY found the right teddy bear!  Mummy was SO excited, since it was getting close to time for me to be born!  I also "helped" Mummy pick a toy out for Steven... It was a little train for him to play with on his train track.
Here's my big brother Showing off the bedroom he helped decorate for me!
Mummy thought that she might be pregnant only 3 weeks after I was conceived.  The doctor confirmed it on June first.  I would be born around February 16th.  We told all of my grandparents right away, and Grandmom immediately started telling everyone that she KNEW that I was going to be a girl!  (Although Mummy and Daddy were hoping so too, they knew that Gramma had said the same thing about my brother... Hee hee hee!)  On July 20th, at Mummy's first official doctor visit, everyone heard my heartbeat.  Big brother was so excited that it was all he could talk about for weeks!!! On September 3rd, two days before Mummy's birthday she felt me moving around!  She was ecstatic because now she KNEW that I was in there, and was doing okay!  Because my brother was born early, and Mummy and Daddy have a genetic disorder, Mummy and Daddy went to an ultrasound.  They took big brother with, and BOY was he fascinated by THAT!!!  At the ultrasound, they learned that I was a girl.  Mummy and Daddy thought about keeping the secret to themselves, but just couldn't do it.  EVERYONE was happy since there would now be a grandson AND a granddaughter in the family!  Mummy had a few complications during her pregnancy.  Because of her joints, she had to wear a hip and belly brace for 17 LOOOOOOOOONG weeks so that I wouldn't be born too soon.  She also saw a therapist several times a week for some back trouble.  The therapy wasn't too hard though and AAAAAHHH did the heating pads feel GREAT!  I would wrap myself around Mummy's spine just to get closer to it!  She DID look pretty though!  Several people told her that she positively "glowed" and her hair grew even faster than normal!  For the first time in her life, Mummy actually wore nail polish, as her nails grew long and STRONG!
This is a picture of Mummy 3 weeks before I was born... She's wearing the ONLY pants that would fit at the time!!!
How I got here!!!
On January 12th, Mummy started having contractions.  She waited and waited to call Daddy, but eventually they were coming 7 minutes apart, so she called the doctor.  The doctor said she ought to come in, since my brother had been born early too.  They took him to Gramma and Grandpa's house and headed to the hospital.  All the way there, the contractions came faster and faster.  By the time they got to the hospital they were 3 minutes apart!!! Mummy and Daddy were excited because I was finally going to come out!  The nurses hooked Mummy up to a monitor, and told her to rest.  Slowly, over several hours, the contractions died down to 15 minutes apart.  The nurse came in and said that it was only prodomal labor, and sent them home.  Mummy was MAD!!!  She wanted to see me, and felt really silly about being sent home.  Daddy told her not to worry about it, but that only made her feel worse.  For four LONG weeks, Mummy felt these contractions.  She couldn't sleep, could barely eat, and when she got up she felt sick to her stomach.  She begged Daddy to drive her over railroad tracks so that I would be born sooner.  Every time, the contractions would get stronger and closer together, and at 4 minutes apart, they would start to go away.
