Judging People
"Do not judge lest you be judged. "For in the way that you judge you will
be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
"And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do
not notice the log that is in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your
brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is
in your own eye? "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye,
and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
(Matthew 7:1-5)
Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment,
for in that you judge one another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge
practice the same things. And we know that the judgment of God rightly
falls upon those who practice such things.
(Romans 2:1-2)
Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the
Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness
and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each mans praise will
come to him from God.
(1 Corinthians 4: 5)
"For if you forgive men for there transgressions, your heavenly Father will
also forgive you. "But if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not
forgive your transgressions.
(Matthew 6:14-15)
