SCHEDULE: Saturday, September 16, 2006 9:00 am WON 37-7 Tony played the whole game - excellent line man! Michael came with Mommy & Nick to watch. Noni and Papa came, too. We really enjoyed watching Tony's great moves! Saturday, September 23, 2006 10:30 am WON 23-0 Tony was great! It was a mud bowl, but he managed quite a few spin moves and helped the team in getting the safety. Papa Don came and watched with Nick and Mommy. AWESOME! Saturday, September 30, 2006 9:00 am WON 58-0 Great game! Tony got his first "tackle" (flag) and was so excited - as were Daddy, Mommy, Nick and Papa Don watching from the sidelines. What a fun time! Saturday, October 7, 2006 10:30 am LOSS 21-44 Ouch! Not such a good time today. First loss and by the only team to ever score against them - they played them the first game. Papa Don, Nick and Mommy cheered from the sidelines. Tony still played well, it just didn't work out for them. Saturday, October 14, 2006 9:00 am WON ??-0 A great game! Tony actually sacked the quarterback and got a tackle (flag)! Uncle Floyd came to watch with Jacob and Jared, but Mommy was home with Nick - way too cold for a little guy that wasn't feeling so great. I am sorry I missed such a wonderful game. Way to go Tony!! Saturday, October 21, 2006 10:30 am WON 62-14 A great last game. Tony got to run the ball twice and on the second carry he got about 20 yards! Awesome! Papa Don, Mommy and Nick bundled up and cheered him all the way. CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES (Tony's team is in 1st place right now!): Saturday, November 4, 2006 10:30 am WON 62-0 Tony was awesome! He had 2 flags (tackles) in the first 5 minutes. He then managed to get another flag and get a safety! His best game yet! Nick and I cheered very loudly from the sidelines! Saturday, November 5, 2006 3:30 pm LOSS 7-35 Oh well, it was a great season. Tony still had a great game. He managed to get 3 flags (tackles) and had a good time, in spite of the loss. He even got to play center for the whole game! Papa Don, Nick and I rooted him on for the whole game. |
