Russ...

I
am guessing when I say that Russ (the dog) disappeared about 2 months
ago. We often wondered what happened to him and sort of assumed
he was shot by someone who caught him roaming through their yard.
Last night we got a message from our neighbor across the road saying
there was a dead dog in the trees just north of their place. We
investigated this afternoon and it was Russ. I plan to bury him
tomorrow if the ground isn't too frozen at this point.
Our curiosity around how he died is minimal at this point and we're
relieved he didn't attack anyone else in the time he was missing.

The
biopsy of the tumor in my neck / shoulder has been scheduled for this
Friday (3/31/06)... It's an "out-patient" procedure so it's
fairly insignificant on it's own but the "pathology" on what they find
is going to be the big kicker. That means more waiting for
results. So, I'll be focusing on the tasks at hand around here...
