Since
we drove here yesterday, technically, today is day 2 of this trip but I
start my treatment in less than two hours... It'll be about 5
hours at the clinic and then I'll be hanging out with two portable
infusion pumps hanging on my waist and plans to keep myself busy.
The next 5 days I'll be slowed down a bit by "the pumps". They
are about the size of a 1' 2x4 board and twice as heavy.
I'm NOT looking forward to having those things strapped on my waist. |

The infusion of the first drug went well. The "pumps" are hooked up and running. Now I almost want to take a nap. The conversation with my doctor was good. There appears to be very little that has changed that can be observed without scans... The scans have been scheduled to happen in a little over two weeks. |

Of course the poisons/drugs I get the first few days of my treatment keep me awake at night. Maybe the nap earlier wasn't such a good idea. I ended up spending the evening watching TV. I "should" try to get some sleep but I'll surf the web for awhile... |
