I want to elaborate a bit on the Lyrics Project that has been mentioned in the guest book. The link/URL/address of this project is:

I haven't signed up to contribute to the Lyrics Project yet because I have NOT written anything in a few years and as the the years slip away the words evolve and the sentiment fades.
We celebrated Shawn's 30th birthday last night. It was a great party. It also meant a late start for the day today. The door to the wood stove (our heat at the farm) broke yesterday so the top priority for the day was to get it fixed! Our neighbor, Drew, stopped by with his welder and fixed it for us this afternoon. (whew) Now, I'll be able to watch TV in comfort this evening. The electric heater only does a so so job of keeping the farm house warm. The to do list is still huge. Who knows what will get done or need fixing next...
Tomorrow I hope to get the well retested and there's the usual Monday guitar lessons to teach. Then it'll be picking another item from the list in our heads.
