This is a few days late, but I guess it's worth mentioning that last Sunday (Oct 19) was my one year anniversary of dating Vivi! Wow! Where has this past year gone? It's so amazing how quickly time has gone past. I guess when I stop to think about it, it does feel like a whole year, but even just typing that makes me realize how strange it is.
Our original plan was to go to dinner at the Seoul Plaza Hotel, which has a French restaurant at the top (on the 22nd floor). Hotel restaurants are usually the most posh in Korea, but also the Plaza has a special meaning to us because that's where we first met. Neither of us had been there so we decided to celebrate last Friday night.
Unfortunately, the change of weather and a very hectic schedule made Vivi very susceptible to getting sick, and she caught a very serious cold. So we decided to postpone our big anniversary celebration for a time when she was feeling better. We opted for Outback Steak House instead, and I think we might have enjoyed that even more than the French restaurant. We were both starving and a big piece of meat was definitely exactly what we wanted. =)
This week has gone by really quickly and Vivi has been so busy with school that we hardly get the chance to see each other. But next Wednesday we are going to see the Linkin Park concert here in Seoul, and so we're both pretty excited about that.
In the meantime, there's the little issue of me taking the GRE Saturday morning. I'm not really worried about the test; I'm worried about getting myself to the test center at 8:30am....
