Chris Martin Admits | Sites I've made | All About Me | Contact Me |
Coldplay never ever thought they would get so popular. One day a young man named, Chris Martin, formed a band in college never thinking he and the rest of his band would make it this far. Chris Grew up in Devon, England and went to university in london where he met and became friends quickly with Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion. Chris does the vocals and plays the guitar as well as the piano. Guy does the bass, Will plays the drums and Jonny plays the guitar. They would practice everyday and anywhere they could find a place. They would practice in, Bathrooms, in parks in their basement, anywhere they could find a place they were there.
When they released their first album, Parachutes, they won best album of the year at the 2001 brit awards in London, England. They were so amazed at how many copies of their album were selling and how many awards they were receiving. Their first single off parachutes was called, Yellow. When they released their second album, a rush of blood to the head, they won best album of the year at the 2003 brit awards in London, England. They also won best single for in my place. Their first single off a rush of blood to the head was in my place.
