CALVIN & HOBBES
I was introduced to Calvin And Hobbes by my father. I loved it from the first one and immediatly set out to collect all of their strips. I am proud to say I have everystrip. I lack only one of the books; the first one, which is almost impossible to find in bookstores. I remember the day that the last strip was published. I was sad because I knew I would never see another new one, but happy that I had seen what I had. Aside from PEANUTS, it was one of the most famous comic strips ever.

Calvin: He is a genius for his age. His lack of true friends is no dount due to their unabilty to understand him. He is your typical misbehaving little boy, except at Christmas.
Hobbes: He is merely a stuffed animal that Calvin's imagination brings to life. But he seems like so much more. He listens to Calvin, and unlike most, he understands him. Hobbes does enjoy waiting to pounce Calvin when he comes home from school, and a fresh can of tuna.
Mom: She has no other name, just mom. She tries to be patient, but with a son like hers it doesent work. They connect once in a while, but not to often. We usualy see her doin another thing outside of motherhood when Calvin barges in.
Dad: Like Mom, he has no other name. He and Calvin are very diffrent. There is only one cartoon where they realy connect. He is usualy more interested in building Calvins's charecter, which usualy involves manual labor that he does not want to do.
Spaceman Spiff: An alter ego, usualy he only appears in one of two situations; Calvin is in trouble, or he is dealind with Susie. There always produced funny strips.
Susie Derkins: She is the only other child Calvin has alot of contact with. She and Calvin flirt shamelessly, but try and hide their feels for one another. She does, however, show her feelings for Hobbes.
Mrs Wormwood: She tries to be a good teacher, she realy does. But Calvin constantly challenges her with his antice. She particuraly like his report on bats. It is rumored she is up to two packs a day, unfiltered, Calvin takes pride in that fact.
Rosalyn: She is Calvins baby sitter, and one of his toughest foes. She can be nice, when Calvin is.Two famous moments, Calvin locks her out of the house, and another time he tells the cops she is holding him hostage. All she is doing is earning tuition money for collage.
Moe: The classic school bully. He is mean to Calvin just because he can be. His strips usualy inspire Calvin to have a heart to heart with Hobbes instead of fight back; because as Calvin says"never mess with a six year old who shaves".
