Nicole just finished her second year at the public charter school, I-DEA, that is a "virtual academy". We get to continue to homeschool her, but now have the support of an entire school staff behind us. We have a resource center just over in Boise with a lot of great teachers and staff. The school pays for all her school supplies as well as her extra-curricular activities like horse riding, bowling, and P.E. class. This was also her first year in high school and we've been enjoying it a lot. We cannot believe she's going to be a sophomore this coming fall! She'll also be starting driver's education, so consider yourselves fairly warned! hehe
She will continue to be home schooled, with the charter school providing financial support as well as testing and record keeping. AND, as they are are a public school, she will get a diploma and graduation ceremony at the end of her Senior year.
