He cleans the sewer main lines, inspects manholes, performs (sewage) line locates,
televises the lines, performs lift station (pump house) inspections and repairs, and is a
  call-out / on-call operator.
In 2005, for which he won the Pacific Northwest "Operator of the Year" award, Chris
inspected 1,672 manholes, cleaned 450,714 feet of sewage lines, televised 9,560 feet on
line, and spent approximately 570 hours locating 3,791 lines.
Most recently, Chris was awarded the State of Idaho Collections Operator of the Year for
2006 AND has been promoted to Supervisor of Collections. Chris is currently
concentrating on the new computerized televising van system to start mapping the
  entire city of Caldwell.
